I’ll be the very first in my family to gain a college degree, which’s something I hold extremely near my heart.
My family and I moved to the United States in 2014 We chose Memphis as our 2nd home to start fresh and construct a better future.
When I graduated secondary school in 2020, I decided to sign up with the Army Get so I might function full time to help sustain my family economically. Along the way, my parents constantly reminded me of the value of a college level. Truthfully, I fought with the decision in between choosing job over college.
That transformed when I discovered the College of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I might make my degree 100 % online from an approved, across the country identified Carnegie R 1 university. Last November, I released to Kuwait, with a month left of autumn term. Many thanks to the support and structure of UofM Worldwide, I was able to finish strong, even making the Dean’s Listing. I’m taking four courses while serving on active service, and I’m pleased to claim I’ll be graduating in May.
Having the ability to serve my country, sustain my family, and gain my level implies the globe to me. I really feel all set to take on whatever follows.
